Very pleased to announce that AN INHERITANCE OF ASHES has won the 2016 Copper Cylinder award in its YA category, alongside Silvia Moreno-Garcia’s SIGNAL TO NOISE in the adult category!

  1. Huzzah! I want to know when I will be able to get the second printing, in which the book wears all of its bling on the dust jacket.

    1. The Canadian SF awards this year have been notably full of awesome work by awesome women writers. I like this as a trend. 🙂

  2. Wow! Congratulations hope you are feeling well enough to really enjoy all the warm fuzzies that this award brings. You deserve them all. Way to go Leah!

    1. Most of the way better now! Which is good, because it hit P. ten times harder than it hit me, and if I hadn’t been mostly functional already that would’ve been a bad scene.

  3. Poor guy! Glad to hear you are feeling better though and yes it would have been terrible to have you both down at the same time. Sending positive and healthy thoughts to you both.
